Bell Farm Styled Shoot / Iowa Wedding Photographer
What is a styled shoot and why do I do them? Well, it's a great way to connect and make friends! Des Moines is really great for that. Wedding industry vendors coming together to work and become friends is a great thing. It's great that people can come together and help each other by promoting their businesses. This styled shoot was SO MUCH FUN!
I had the chance to put together some florals, design a stationery suite AND take some photos alongside Cherry Chiles Photography! Making the stationery design was so much fun, every time I go into the printers to get these printed the guy is confused as to what I'm doing with them! I loved matching the designs to the farm that we did the shoot at. Bell Farm was so gracious in letting us use their property. It's such a unique thing to harvest honey, I know I would be terrified to do it! They also had all of these pretty flowers for us to use in the shoot. Whitney from Little Blackbird Bakery was brave enough to pick them all herself so we could use them. That was important for this shoot, to use the resources on this farm! I loved how organic it turned out. We even had to put Chocolate the Chicken into a few portraits, she was a good sport! I had a blast working with all of these vendors and creating all of these portraits. Enjoy!
